Brazilian Futsal Academy exists to fill a gap in the technical development of soccer players in Canada. Futsal training offers a far better learning environment for children to gain technical skills and confidence.
Our methodology promotes hard work, developing good training habits, and lots of repetition of movement and ball mastery. We strongly believe that desire and hard work are the ingredients to success and we instill that in all our students.
At Brazilian Futsal Academy new staff must complete several weeks of 'shadowing' a senior coach and complete their online training modules before a practical assessment. Continued education is part of each staff member's development through Canada's coaching network, NCCP, BC Soccer and Canada Soccer Association.
The Brazilian Futsal Academy offers a structured soccer education for children aged 5-15. Players progress through different coaching levels based on their technical skills, not age. Our broad age bands help match classes to each player's development stage. We focus on movement, ball mastery, and various techniques, which are then practiced in Futsal games. Futsal is a fast-paced, small-sided game played 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 on an indoor court.
